Appendix B. Notes on Aliases

Together Alexander (grandson of King Herod) and his sister wife "Philo"/Cleopatra of Mauretania/Salome III had two prominent sons:

• Marcus Julius Alexander aka Gaius Calpernius Piso aka Izates bar Monobazus (aka Pliny the Elder?).
• Tiberius Julius Alexander (aka Agrippa III?) aka Josephus (Tiberius Julius Alexander's son was named 'Philopappos' and one of his mothers recorded maiden aliases was 'Alexandria bat Matthias' (8) which is where the pseudonym 'Joseph bar Matthias' comes from. Also, drop the initial b and final s in the name "Bar Mathias" and you get (Joseph of) Arimathea) aka Arrius Calpernius Piso (Seneca referred to Josephus as "Episemos" which is a Koine Greek to Latin mistranslation of "son of Piso" (9) and Arrius comes from "Arrius Varus" (10), one of his many alias, which in turn is probably a diminutive of his uncle's name Aristobulus) aka Emperor Nerva (11).

Emperor Vespasian was another likely grandson of King Herod, Herod Pollio aka Herod Agrippa I, son of King Herod's son Aristobulus IV who was Julius Caesar's adopted son (12) (ignore the elder busts of him which have idealized Julio-Claudian features and look at his youngest depictions (13)). He was also 'Flavius Scaevinus' the conspirator who was involved in Nero's assassination. 'Philo of Alexandria' aka Salome III was also 'Antonia Caenis' who was Vespasian's first cousin and mistress and her son Tiberius Julius Alexander ('Josephus') was Vespasian's son-in-law/adopted son and the Prefect (leader) of the Praetorian Guard which made him arguably the most powerful man in the empire during Vespasian's reign. Philo of Alexandria aka Salome III was also the first cousin and ex-mother-in-law to King Herod's granddaughter Berenice aka St. Veronica (Veronica is a transliteration of the Greek name Berenike meaning 'victory') who was empress of Rome through her relationship with Vespasian's son Titus. Berenice's brother, Marcus Julius Agrippa II, whom she was in an incestuous relationship with (Juvenal, Saturae 6.155–158) (Josephus, Antiquities, 20.145–146) before moving on to her cousin, was the governor of all foreign Roman territories except Egypt (which was governed by Tiberius Julius Alexander) during the Flavian period. 

There was a school in Alexandria, Egypt called the "Alexandrian School" (16) that was founded in the 4th century BC by Ptolemy Soter with the purpose of creating a slave morality religion to subjugate the Egyptian population he ruled over. The Serapis Christus cult was the result [link]. After the Serapis cult this school then specialized in religious syncretism and creating slave morality religions. Over a dozen slave-morality religions came from here: the Serapis cult (Ptolemy Soter's slave morality to subjugate the Egyptians), Mithraism (slave morality for the Seleucids: Zoroastrianism + Alexandrian School slave morality to subvert the Parthians and Persians), Manichaeanism, Valentinianism, Buddhism (slave morality for the Bactrians: the ancient Vedas combined with Stoicism/Alexandrian slave morality to subvert the Indo-Aryans), Hermeticism (Philo of Alexandria’s syncretic philosophy to subvert the Canaanite religion of the Levant), etc. The Sibylline Oracles were a style guide for their students (16). At the time of christianity's creation this school was financed by Alexander (grandson of King Herod) and its leader was his sister wife Philo of Alexandria aka Salome III aka Cleopatra of Mauretania. Alexander and his sister wife's son Tiberius Julius Alexander aka Josephus aka Emperor Nerva was the Prefect (Governor) of Roman Egypt under the name Tiberius Claudius Balbilus and then Tiberius Julius Alexander which places him in Alexandria around the same time as his parents. Alexander, his sister wife Philo, son Tiberius Julius Alexander aka Josephus, and likely over a dozen students probably took Gnosticism and retconned it with the Roman myth of Quirinus aka Romulus (does he look familiar? [link]. He was born of a virgin, hailed as a King, crucified [link] by a conniving elite and rose from the dead. See: 'Romulus' by Plutarch (75AC)), who the Romans would have been familiar with (17), and added in the Alexandrian School (16) slave morality and targeted this suicide cult at the Romans.

       Emperor Caligula and his Prefect of Roman Egypt, Aulus Avilius Flaccus (the real-life Pontius Pilate) (18), most likely became aware sometime around the Alexandrian Riots in 38CE that this family, in conjunction with the Alexandrian School, were trying to usurp the Romans through a revolution that weaponized the slaves and lowest classes (16). He then killed Alexander (son of King Herod) aka Juba II and imprisoned his son Alexander (grandson of King Herod). This led to Philo's embassy to Rome in 40CE (Philo: Legatio ad Gaium (Embassy to Gaius). This family then used their connections in Rome and money to bribe the Praetorian Guard to kill Caligula as revenge. Both of Alexander's (grandson of King Herod) sons were directly involved in Caligula's assassination (19) and Tiberius Julius Alexander immediately became the Prefect (leader) of the Praetorian Guard after Caligula's death and eventually succeeded Aulus Avilius Flaccus as the Prefect of Roman Egypt. This group achieved their coup when Vespasian became emperor.

The reason why they used so many aliases (15) was to hide the fact that the population was ruled by a tiny aristocracy because if they knew they would revolt. Also, allowing Alexander and his descendants to become kings of so many Roman client states under different aliases [link] served the practical purpose of creating a buffer region between Rome and Persia that was ruled by a single family. This is also why Julius Caesar and Augustus adopted members of these royal families and got them to intermarry (Ptolemy's/Alexandrians and Herodians, etc.).
